Anemone Makeup

About Our Classes

The makeup and beauty industry is a fascinating, rewarding, and a rapidly growing career choice. If you desire to become a beauty and fashion makeup artist, the best way to learn is from a professional makeup artist whose work you admire. Then combine that knowledge with continuous practice on others.

Boston Makeup Artist, and Anemone founder, Ann Marie Laurendeau has been teaching many various forms of makeup artistry for years by offering individual sessions to her clients, plus workshops and seminars for college theater art students and to executive women's groups. Her classes are affordable and her teaching style is effective because class size is limited to small groups or individualized instruction and is tailored to meet her student's needs.

Ann Marie offers instruction for basic beauty, and bridal makeup. Additionally, she offers starter makeup kits at a discounted price to all attendees. Upon completion of this class, many of her students gain the opportunity to assist her on-location for Anemone Makeup at photo-shoots, fashion shows, and events.

All classes taught by Ann Marie are 100% informative. They are divided into three different sessions to meet your budget and education needs. Keep in mind that there is no state requirement or certificate needed to get work as a beauty makeup artist. When working in this industry you will be judged on your talent, creativity, professionalism and skills needed to apply makeup to men and women of different ages and skin colors. This can't be emphasized enough. Once you learn the basics - a lot of practice is what will make you a successful makeup artist!
