Hair and Makeup Trial Appointments

Wedding hair and makeup trials are provided by appointment at The Phoenix Salon, 27 Thompson Street, Winchester, MA, 01890. Click here for map and directions.

For this 2-hour session, we ask that you, the bride, have an idea of how you want to wear your hair and makeup on your wedding day and welcome you to bring along your favorite magazine photographs as well as a camera to take photos of your finished wedding look. Please arrive with clean dry hair or blow dry straight if your hair is curly or wavy and you want a sleek wedding day hair style.

If you are uncertain about how you want to wear your wedding day makeup and hairstyle, we will offer suggestions and our expert advice to help you with find the perfect wedding makeup, hairstyle, or bridal up-do that best complements you and your style. We also offer hair and makeup trial appointments for mother-of-the-bride and bridesmaids as well as makeup lessons for brides, eyebrow waxing and false eyelashes, and hair extensions.

Please note that all weddings are booked on a first-come basis. Due to stylist and seasonal demands, we ask that you schedule your hair and makeup trial as far in advance of your wedding day as possible. For our many out-of-state brides who are getting married in New England we can make special arrangements to provide the trial at a Boston area hotel.
