From Boston
Take 93 North to Exit 33 Fellsway West/Winchester Rt.
28. Travel straight for .2 miles and go LEFT at rotary over 93
following the
Somerville/Boston sign. Take IMMEDIATE RIGHT onto South Border
Road Winchester (follow sign). Travel straight approximately 2.2 miles
to your SECOND set of lights (a five-way intersection) and continue
straight until you are at the rotary in Winchester Center. Go all
the way around the rotary and go RIGHT under the train-bridge,
and then take an IMMEDIATE RIGHT onto THOMPSON Street. The Phoenix Salon
is located at 27 Thompson Street in Winchester Center (halfway
down
on your right past T & G Nails).
From the North
Take 93 South to Exit 36 (Montvale Avenue Stoneham/Woburn).
Bear right off the exit and go LEFT at first set of lights onto
WASHINGTON Street. (Wendy's Restaurant is on your left) Travel straight
approximately 2 miles to your THIRD set of lights (a five-way intersection).
Continue STRAIGHT onto MOUNT VERNON STREET (The Winchester Town
Hall, a large red brick building will be on your left, fire station
on
right) until you are at the rotary in Winchester Center. Go all
the way around the rotary and GO RIGHT under the train-bridge,
and then
take an IMMEDIATE RIGHT onto THOMPSON Street. The Phoenix Salon
is located at 27 Thompson Street in Winchester Center (halfway
down
on your right past T & G Nails).
From the South
Take 128 South to Exit 33A Route 3 Winchester (2 exits after
passing the Burlington Mall on your left). Bear Right off the exit
and travel straight approximately 3 miles until you see MAHONEYS
NURSERY on
your RIGHT. Take a LEFT at the SECOND set of lights after MAHONEYS
NURSERY onto CHURCH Street. Travel straight for approximately
one mile until you pass the Winchester Common on your RIGHT.The
road bears to the right around the common and there is a rotary
on your
left.GO RIGHT under the train-bridge. Take an IMMEDIATE RIGHT
onto THOMPSON Street. The Phoenix Salon is located at 27 Thompson
Street in Winchester Center halfwaydown on your right past
T & G
Nails.
From the Commuter Rail
Take the Commuter Rail train from North Station
to Winchester Center. Walk down the ramp, and cross the street
going right until you see the Thompson Street Sign. (next to the Post office)
Walk a short distance on
the left side
of the street and you will see signs for the Phoenix Salon.
Parking
Street parking is available on Thompson Street for two hours.
Other spaces are available in Winchester Center for 2-hours,
15 and 30
minutes. There are also 2-hour parking lots available behind
the Winchester Commons (across the rotary) and near the
Post Office/Commuter
Rail station.
