York and beyond. There are additional minimum charges and fees
(lodging, fuel/mileage & expenses) when requested to travel outside

How
much advance notice do I need to book a makeup artist or hairstylist
for a media project or special event?
A) It is best to contact us
as soon as you know you need a makeup artist or hairstylist for
an upcoming project or event. We are typically booked months in advance,
however, it may still be possible to accommodate
your request on short notice.
Q) What type of makeup and hair care
products do you use?
A) We use our own line of professional
grade skin care and makeup products. Our products are all made of
high-quality natural ingredients
and are hypoallergenic, fragrance, oil and cruelty-free. They
look great on many different complexions and skin tones including
our mixed heritage
clients. Our skin care and makeup products are also recommended
for people with problem or sensitive skin.
Q) I don't usually wear makeup and desire a very natural wedding
day appearance. Do I need to hire a professional makeup artist/stylist?
A)
Absolutely! Anemone makeup artists have extensive experience applying
makeup specifically for photographs. If you desire a very natural,
yet polished look, a professional makeup artist can give you a flawless
complexion, perfectly shaped eyebrows, cheekbones and lips by applying
soft, natural looking colors. Your makeup will last all day and you'll
look great both in person and in your wedding photographs.
Q) How long will my makeup and hairstyle last?
A) With
years of experience working in the entertainment industry, we know the
importance of long-lasting makeup and hairstyling. We use a variety of
professional products and techniques to keep your makeup looking fresh
for hours and constantly receive compliments from our clients that their
makeup and hairstyle remained intact for their entire event.
Q) What happens if I have an extra person who wants to be included
that was not initially in the contracted agreement?
A) This
happens frequently. Others see our beautiful work and then decide that
they want to look that beautiful as well. Should this occur, we would
make every effort to accommodate the request provided that this
does not interfere with the bride's schedule or with another client's
service or event. The best advice is to contract enough time when
you initially make your booking for a makeup artist or hairstylist.
Q) How
many months
in advance do I need to reserve your services for my wedding date
and when should I do the pre-wedding consultation?
A) All wedding
dates are booked on a first-come, first-serve basis. Certain dates and
times will fill quickly. We recommend that you contract with us to retain
our services as soon as you confirm both the date and
hours of your wedding. As far as the pre-wedding consultation,
the earlier you schedule it, the better, so that we can effectively
help you to define
both your makeup and hairstyling needs.
Q) What if I am growing
my hair so I can wear an up-do on my wedding day?
A) Don't
wait. Schedule a pre-wedding consultation to meet with a hairstylist,
have your makeup done and discuss your thoughts for a wedding
day hairstyle. The stylist will be able to make recommendations
about growing your hair. At that consultation, please schedule
your hair appointment
about one or two months before the wedding. Another option is
to wear a hairpiece or natural hair extensions. In any event,
it is best to speak
to your stylist about which options work best for you.
Q) I have a large wedding party. In addition to myself, I have
7 bridesmaids who all want makeup and up-dos. How many artists/stylists
will come to my hotel?
A) It isn't about the quantity of stylists
that is important here. It is about the quality service that we deliver.
We specialize in on-location work and as professionals we are trained
to work quickly and efficiently - our
clients are ALWAYS ready on time. Additionally, if you still have
a concern, we give you the option of requesting a second stylist
at your location.
