Aspiring Makeup Artist Workshop - Basic Beauty Makeup (Session 1-2)
If you are interested in a career as a professional makeup artist, this is a perfect opportunity to learn the basic skills required to get started. You will also learn specialized techniques to produce picture perfect results that will assist you in building a portfolio, as well as how to market your services and get working in this recession proof business!
Veteran makeup artist, Ann Marie Laurendeau offers an inclusive and non-competitive approach that allows students to acquire a better understanding of how to successfully choose and apply the right makeup products and colors to successfully satisfy their client's needs.
Following a practical makeup demonstration that emphasizes natural colors and professional techniques, students will then have the opportunity to practice their newfound knowledge directly on each other. As students apply each other's makeup, Ann Marie will offer recommendations, guidance, and tips that will help students gain the confidence needed to apply these techniques to their own clients in the future.
Beginner makeup artists aren’t the only ones that will value this workshop. Hair and fashion stylists will also benefit from having a better understanding of the basics of applying makeup professionally. This workshop may also be helpful for more established artists looking to update or sharpen their skills. In all cases, the knowledge that is gained from this workshop is truly the best step toward increasing a makeup artist's potential earning power. The students will leave with more confidence in their individual abilities, due to the increased skills gained from this workshop, as well as a certificate of attendance.
Additionally, Anemone Makeup offers an intern program for attendees to gain hands on experience.
Classes are held on various Sundays and divided into 2 different sessions. Students attending both sessions will receive a $100 discount off the total cost. Click here for our 2010 Workshop Calendar which includes costs and additional information.
